With our 2025 GOTY Awards done and dusted, it's time to start mapping out our plans for new 2026 games on the horizon. It may not look like a packed year at a glance, but you know how it goes. At some point I'll blink and find myself in December with another long list of new games to catch up on.

Since it's still rather early our 2026 new games calendar doesn't have a ton of dates set in stone yet, but what immediately jumps out at me is the year's return trip to not one but two cities from an era of gaming that still has a chokehold on me.
